Sigep, a key trade show for the Italian dessert and coffee industry, will return with a physical event organised by the Italian Exhibitions Group (IEG) at its Rimini Expo Centre, Italy, 22-26 January 2022.
Immediately after last March’s fully digital Sigep Exp, Sigep drew up a business road map for the sector, fixing dates until 2025, including AB Tech Expo 2023. Corrado Peraboni, CEO of IEG, said: “Our work on the patrimony that this brand represents for Italian companies has never ceased.”
Traders attending Sigep 2022 will find updated and specific attention to ingredients, outdoor seating area furnishings, eco-sustainable packaging, digital services, logistics and the cold chain. There will be specific areas for the individual gelato, pastry, coffee and bakery supply chains at the show.
Organisers say Sigep 22 also aims to present sector trends with an international approach. New consumer needs, innovations, technologies and market strategies in different parts of the world will be the focus of talks in the Vision Plaza.
The show will also offer a three-day ‘Digital Agenda’, 26-28 January, specifically for exhibitor and buyer matching on the digital platform.
In anticipation of January 2022, Sigep is offering, from September to December, ‘Thematic Days’, digital events for professionals that will trace the road map towards its physically-attended edition.
