in-cosmetics Global ended its 2023 edition in Barcelona, Spain, on 30 March. The three-day event saw 10,799 individual global attendees, a 33% increase on 2022, who descended on the Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
in-cosmetics Global welcomed more than 900 leading personal care ingredient suppliers, from over 50 countries, looking to connect with manufacturers and brands at the show. Of the over 10,000 attendees 72% of attendees joined the event from over 118 countries. Of the international delegation, 12% travelled from Asia Pacific – compared to 6% in 2022 - hailing from South Korea, China, India, and Japan.
Speaking about the event from an exhibitor’s perspective, Sandra Meister, business and relationship manager, Mibelle Biochemistry, said: “in-cosmetics Global is the single most important show of the year due to the great opportunities it offers. We have been able to meet with all our distributors from over 50 countries, as well as connect with new customers.”
The event’s seven conference theatres and labs offered attendees the opportunity to get hands-on with new formulation techniques, market intelligence, and new product innovations. Additionally, the show expanded on its Sustainability Zone, which showcased new developments in sustainable beauty. At the show in-cosmetics also hosted its annual Global Awards, for which the 2023 edition received more than 250 entries.

The 2024 edition of in-cosmetics Global will take place in Paris, France, 16-18 April.
