The German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture has asked Hamburg Messe und Congress (HMC) to organise the official German pavilion and garden at the international horticultural exhibition Floriade Expo 2022 as general contractor. It will be the seventh Floriade Expo national stand contract for the Hamburg team.
The event is scheduled to run 14 April until 9 October 2022 in Amsterdam-Almere under the expo theme, ‘Growing Green Cities’.
“We have successfully organised past German participations at horticultural expositions on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, including the 2016 expo in Antalya and the 2019 expo in Beijing,” said Bernd Aufderheide, president and CEO of HMC. “We truly appreciate the German government entrusting us once again with the responsibility of organising the German pavilion in a global expo.”
