Giant iTab partners with BOE International in Germany

The 2020 tradeshow in Messe Dortmund, BOE International (Business of Events) 15-16 January, will see Giant iTabs around the show floor thanks to a partnership that sees the London-based event tech company as official supplier to the event.

The giant smartphones, organisers hope, will drive event app engagement and help visitors to find the information they need to get the most from their visit.

BOE International will this year feature 550 exhibitors and expects 10,400 trade visitors. Organisers claim it is now the leading tradefair for experience marketing in Germany and the Benelux countries.

Events that use Giant iTab technology see, on average, over five times more visitor engagement than other forms of digital signage, the company claims and its founder and CEO, Mark Jones, says: “We are excited to be working with BOE International this year and we are confident our technology will help further improve the visitor experience and offer a host of benefits for all on the show floor, from visitors to exhibitors.”

Giant iTab says it is looking to grow its international AV Rental Partnership programme, which already has established global partnerships in the USA, Canada, Middle East, Africa, Far East and Australasia and is on the lookout for more AV rental partners, especially across Europe. The company tells EW it increased its number of international partners by 50% in 2019, covering four continents and 22 countries.
