The world’s Expo is once again open, with 192 countries showing off their innovation, opportunity and achievements in the field of sustainability - the three big themes of the Expo - and much more besides in Dubai.
Dubai Expo2020 runs until March 22 and has attracted 2.3m visits in its first month since opening in October. The global events industry’s creativity is on show in some style, with pavilions dazzling with technology and concepts to blow your mind. The expo site is twice the size of Monaco.
The legacy will include the Dubai Exhibition Centre which is being developed over 10 years to cover 180,000sqm and be the heart of a new District 2020 and events and convention hub.
The emirate is the world’s fourth most visited city and now has 132,000 rooms and business travel accounts for 3% of the UAE's GDP.
