Singapore-based venue owner and event organiser Constellar Group has announced that its chief executive officer, Mr Jean-François Quentin (pictured), will be moving on from the company after 30 June 2023 to pursue personal interests. He has been in the role for less than two years.
An official statement said: “Since Jean-François’ joining, he has devoted much effort in building a growth strategy to recover business once Covid restrictions are lifted. This included growing Constellar’s events business beyond Singapore, and accelerating Singapore EXPO’s sustainability roadmap incorporating renewable energy.”
Constellar’s chief executive (Venues), Mr Chua Wee Phong, will oversee all matters related to its group of companies as interim Group CEO with immediate effect. Prior to Constellar, he built the exhibition business for Singapore Press Holdings into one of the biggest event companies in Singapore.
While welcoming Wee Phong, the board and management placed on record its thanks to Jean-François Quentin, “for his leadership and contribution and wish him the best for his future endeavours”.
