AV24/7 launches Connected Event Group

Australia-based events industry staging and AV specialist, AV 24/7, has announced the formation of a new group of companies which, it says, aims to "service the changing needs of the events industry”.

Co-owner and general manager, Libbie Ray said: “As soon as the events industry was shut down in March, we challenged ourselves to think differently about what our clients needed most and in their times of greatest need.

“We did not stop and wait for the world to go back to 'normal'. With our talented team we evolved, we innovated, we embraced “disruption” and turned it into an opportunity.

“With 20 years’ experience running AV 24/7 in the face-to-face events world – and now with a deep understanding of virtual and hybrid challenges - we have brought all our expertise, people and services together in Connected Event Group.”

The company has created four separate brands under the Connected Event Group.

The group comprises of AV 24/7, for traditional AV services and staging strategy and delivery; Digital Events, for hybrid and virtual services and customised strategy and content; Connected Studios (three purpose-built studios in Sydney and Melbourne for recording and online broadcast, pop-up and remote location studios); and Virtual Event Box for on location delivery of branded boxes and experiences.

Juston Prisuda, co-owner of AV 24/7, who is responsible for all production and delivery, said: “The new reality is that event organisers are now more open to change and I’m pleased we have been able to step-up and invest in driving innovation in event design and delivery.”

Connected Event Group has been launched in the market this week with the roll-out of a suite of communication tools targeting the events industry.

Ray added: “Our new look is fresh and makes a big statement that at the core of what we do is to “connect” people – however, this is not only a marketing rebrand it is a major investment in all parts of our business.”
