New area launched at Fastener Fair France

Fastener Fair France will devote an entire area to the fastener sector at the Paris Expo-Porte de Versailles.

This specialist area comes after the revelation that global demand for aerospace-grade fasteners set to climb at a CAGR of 7.6% until 2024, thanks to a thriving aerospace industry.

This area at the international fair will provide networking opportunities for both buyers and sellers in the industry. Well-renowned export companies including Airbus, Safran, Dassault Aviation, Arconic, and Align Aerospace, visited Fastener Fair France 2018. The motor, construction and manufacturing industries were well represented too, with manufacturing leaders like Renault, British steel and Fischer all in attendance.

Exhibition director for Fastener Fair France, Olivia Griscelli, said: “Nearly 100 international exhibitors have already booked their stand for 2020, to capitalise on the positive market outlook for industrial fasteners,”

“Visitors are more willing to invest when they have a unique marketplace to enjoy, which again has the support of the French Association of Fastener Distributors in 2020. Out of the 161 international exhibitors in 2018, 75% received positive business enquiries. The international fair, the only one in France dedicated to fastener and fixing technologies, provides a great opportunity for exhibitors in the fastener industry to display their latest innovations and for companies who source and trade fastener and fixing technologies. It is one of a series of international exhibitions for the fastener and fixing industry, taking place in Germany, Italy, the United States, Mexico and India,”

“The fair comes at a key time, with buyers looking to step up their purchases to meet growing demand”.

A study on industrial fasteners by the Freedonia Group showed that, driven by a resilient aerospace, automotive and construction industry, there will be a predicted 24% rise in the French aerospace-grade fastener market over 2020-2025 to reach $1 billion, and a forcasted 3% annual increase in industrial fasteners to total $2.8 billion. The Freedonia Group also revealed that the global industrial fastener market is also projected to grow by 4% annually to total US$99.5 billion by 2025.

The French aerospace industry is second only to the USA, and is France’s largest industrial sector. It is predicted to grow steadily until 2025.
