Enlarging the Perimeter Protection in Nuremberg

Organisers of Perimeter Protection, the international tradefair for perimeter protection, fencing technology and building security, are expecting more growth when the sixth edition of the s how opens its doors at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg 14-16 January 2020.

Organisers also report that space booked to date already exceeds the total from the previous edition (which attracted 135 exhibitors) of the show and are putting drone detection and defence at the forefront of the 2020 show, as well as a free-to-attend forum for specialists.

Of the companies already registered for 2020, 12% are new exhibitors taking part in Perimeter Protection for the first time.

Alexander Stein, Director of Perimeter Protection at NürnbergMesse, says: “We are delighted by the numbers. We have already exceeded the display area booked at the last event, visitors can look forward to a lot of new exhibitors, and more than 50% of the companies that have registered to date are from outside Germany. This shows us yet again that our concept is being very well received across Europe.” Perimeter Protection is the only tradefair to focus on the security of outdoor sites and facilities and presents a comprehensive combination of mechanical, electrical and electronic security technology.

Stein reports that, in 2018, 91%  of trade visitors were involved in the decision-making processes at their companies. “This is an absolutely top result for a tradefair to achieve. It means that we know exactly what is driving the industry and can approach the latest issues in a targeted fashion.”

The tradefair is sponsored by Fachverband Metallzauntechnik e.V. (MZT, German Metal Fencing Association) and the congress partner Verband für Sicherheitstechnik e.V. (VfS, Association for Security and Safety).
