Informa Markets, organiser of the Cityscape real estate events across the Middle East and North African region, has signed an agreement with The Completely Group to jointly organise Cityscape Marketplace UK.
The event, which will be held on 28-29 April 2020 at London’s iconic Old Billingsgate Market, is expected to connect over 70 international exhibitors – from the combined arsenal of the Cityscape group and The Completely Group – with thousands of UK and international investors looking for partnerships and investment opportunities spanning the real estate spectrum.
The two-day event will adopt the format that has made one of The Completely Group’s biggest events, Completely Retail Marketplace, a success following its launch in London in 2012; success which has since been repeated in a number of European markets, including The Nordics, Iberia, and CEE. While Cityscape has become the leading real estate event brand in the Middle East and North African region, running ten exhibitions annually, including its flagship event in Dubai.
Leveraging both organisers’ knowledge of the real estate industry, the deal-driven event will cover all real estate sectors with an emphasis on commercial real estate investment. Exhibitors representing Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Egypt, Turkey, US, and Cyprus are among the international participants expected at next year’s show alongside leading UK-based exhibitors.

Next year’s show will also include a knowledge platform consisting of a series of seminars and panel discussions which will put UK investment under the spotlight. The seminars cover a range of topics including: Opportunities across all asset classes in the UK real estate market; National and local government incentives; The UK’s most attractive cities and areas of opportunities; Legal, tax and cultural considerations of investing in the UK.
This will be the first time that Cityscape and The Completely Group will be working together; the event is expected to attract investors - not only from the UK - but around the world with a keen focus on investors from the various regions that Cityscape operates in looking for investment opportunities and partnerships. Next year’s event will also see leading private and public sector authorities seeking investment partners, residential and commercial real estate capital market brokers, finance companies, and real estate law firms.
