The programme for the first ISES Global Event Summit, which takes place in April 2016, has been published.
The summit, a partnership between The International Special Events Society (ISES), VisitScotland Business Events and the IMEX Group will see an exclusive group of senior corporate event buyers and agency heads from North America and Europe attending IMEX in Frankfurt before heading on to Scotland for a ‘G20 style conference’.
Following IMEX in Frankfurt, the summit will begin with a debate in the Gleneagles Resort on Thursday 21 April before heading to Glasgow for a private tour of the SSE Hydro on 22 April.
Saturday will include a series of debates at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) before the group attends the closing gala dinner on board the Royal Yacht Britannia.
Head of business events at VisitScotland, Neil Brownlee, said: “The Global Event Summit perfectly matches our desire for Scotland to be at the very heart of the global event industry. Scotland is the Perfect Stage for events of all shapes and sizes.
“We have a highly valued and active relationship with both ISES and IMEX and are delighted to be hosting this significant event during the Year of Innovation, Architecture & Design in 2016.”
