Krystle Davis, Association of Event Organisers (AEO), UK

Krystle Davis (pictured) has taken on the role of business development manager at the UK’s Association of Event Organisers (AEO) and will report to its CEO.

Davis will assume responsibility for developing association membership and working with sponsors and partners on AEO and FaceTime initiatives.

Davis joins the association from Intelligent Media Solutions, where she was responsible for B2B event and media sales for the past four years, developing relationships with sponsors and partners and client retention across the health and education portfolio.

On the appointment, Skeith said: “I’m sure Krystle will quickly become an invaluable member of our team, she has enviable sales, business development and customer service experience from working in a number of different sectors and is already known by some of our members.”

Davis will replace Lauren Edney, who has been with the team since February 2014.

“Lauren has done a sterling job for us and is well respected by everyone who has had the pleasure of working with her. We wish her well for the future,” Skeith added.

With 14 years of event experience specialising in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and life science sectors, Lee-Anne Penn joins Ashfield as its new business director.

“The pharmaceutical and healthcare expertise of the agency, and the wider Ashfield Division, is an ideal fit to utilise my knowledge of the industry. I look forward to complementing the strong existing capabilities within the agency," Penn said.

The agency’s global MD Nicola Burns added: “We are delighted to welcome Lee-Anne to the Ashfield Meetings & Events team. Her specialist experience across both event and medical communication agency environments will help position the added value we can offer to our pharmaceutical clients by connecting the excellence across the Ashfield Division.”

Marc Lammens, BCD Meetings & Events, UK

Marc Lammens has joined the UK’s BCD Meetings & Events as managing director of the agency’s EMEA region.

He also joins the global executive team, led by global president, Scott Graf.

Lammens joins BCD after spending the past three years in dual roles. His primary position was as a business director for ABRI (International Business Research Center of VU University), where he was accountable for business development and partnerships with multinational companies.

During this time he also worked as a consultant focusing on designing and implementing organisational and operational improvements for companies. Previously, Lammnes had a 14-year career at KLM where he held several VP roles in sales, marketing and operations strategies.
