GERMANY - Event organiser and venue Koelnmesse will team up with the German Association of Machine and Tool Wholesalers (FDM) to launch a used machinery show in Cologne.
Chairman of FDM’s used machinery working group, Thomas Spaltenberger, says: “Recycling used industrial goods is a demanding business and the products require explanation, which is why personal contact with the customers and confidence in one another is indispensable.
“Nowhere can you make and sustain global contacts better than at a trade show of this kind,” he adds.
Usetec, due to run from 6 to 8 April 2011 at the Koelnmesse exhibition centre, will showcase used machinery and systems of all kinds.
